Münster Hydrogen Round Table

Business Network & Exchange Platform
The Münster Hydrogen Round Table is a network coordinated by Technologieförderung Münster, currently comprising around 20 participating companies and research institutions from the Münsterland region. Participants cover various areas of the hydrogen value chain – from production and transport to the utilization of hydrogen. The goal of the Hydrogen Round Table is a regular exchange on current technological, economic, and regulatory developments in the hydrogen economy. Through dialogue and networking, impulses are generated for concrete local and regional projects that contribute to the further development of Münsterland as a hydrogen location. The network is open to companies from the Münsterland region that have a specific technical or economic connection to hydrogen or are planning related activities.

» Exchange on current developments and trends
» Networking of companies and research institutions along the value chain
» Initiation of regional projects and collaborations
» Strengthening Münsterland as a hydrogen location

H2 Working Group

Coordination & Strategic Collaboration
Operating under the name "H2 Working Group," Technologieförderung Münster GmbH collaborates within the Münster administrative district with IHK Nord Westfalen, the Münster district government, and other partners from business, science, and administration. The H2 Working Group aims to coordinate the further development of hydrogen activities in the administrative district, particularly through discussions on strategic, regulatory, and economic issues. The working group serves as an interface between regional stakeholders, administration, and industry. In October 2024, the H2 Working Group published a joint position paper summarizing key areas of action, challenges, and perspectives for hydrogen in the Münster administrative district.
